Description
The HP-015-SD.XL Soundproofing Metal Enclosure for Heat Pump is an enclosure that is installed around the heat pump to reduce the noise produced by it during operation.
Functions:
- Noise reduction: reduces the noise level by 15 dB, which makes the heat pump run more quietly. This is especially true if the heat pump is installed in a residential area or near residential homes.
- Weather protection: The shroud protects the heat pump from rain, snow, wind and other atmospheric influences. This increases the life of the heat pump and reduces maintenance costs.
- Improved aesthetics: The cover makes the heat pump more attractive and harmonizes it with the exterior of the house.
Materials:
- Metal: 1.0 mm galvanized steel. This makes the enclosure strong, corrosion resistant and durable.
- Soundproofing materials: The soundproofing material used inside the enclosure is a 50 mm thick glass fiber based mineral board covered with high density AcousticWool Sonet P glass fleece. This material absorbs noise, reducing its level.
The air inlet-exhaust is structurally designed as angled lamellae made of metal sheet and noise insulating material to provide the required perforation area without deteriorating the performance of the heat pump.
